I have been desperate to try this place ever since I received a gift card last year. An early Cinco de Mayo date night was the perfect excuse! I could tell my fellow Yelpers had mixed reviews, so I was ready to be objective.
We arrived around 8pm on a Friday to a 45 minute wait (due to a private party upstairs). We opted for free seats at the bar which turned out to be perfect for both conversation and fast service. I had a Paloma as well as a blackberry margarita, while husband had a Mezcal mule - all 3 were delicious and not cheaply made, which I definitely appreciate.
For dinner, I ordered carnitas tacos. While most everything was generously portioned, it did seem that the amount of meat dwindled as I progressed through my 3 tacos. It ended up not mattering as I was fairly full by the time I was done, and everything was delicious and well-seasoned. Husband got the brisket tacos which were also great, if not terribly "Mexican"-tasting.
The service was incredibly friendly, and I was consequently easily talked into the churros for dessert. They were the best things ever but definitely meant to be shared. 3 churros is too many, just so you know.
All in all, I felt like we got our money's worth. Nothing was overpriced and everything we tried was delish. The only complaint was the wait-list situation - it was long (before we decided to sit at the bar) without anywhere good to stand and wait. Minor stuff. I'll be back for sure. -

I've been here a few times over the past two years, and so far, all of my experiences have been just okay. My most recent visit was just a few days ago. I was craving tacos, so I decided to come here. We requested outdoor seating since it was a nice night with a light breeze. The inside felt like it barely had AC. I can't remember our waiter's name; while he was nice enough, it took forever to get anything from him: condiments, water, our check. I think he was possibly managing multiple tables at once both inside and outside, but it just took ages for him to come by.
However, despite the waitstaff's shortcomings, our food was tasty. We were given complimentary salsa and chips to start. I ordered the chicken tacos with corn tortillas, and my friend had the carnitas tacos with flour tortillas. The tacos came with rice and a choice of black beans, refried beans, or a mix of both. I didn't have any drinks on this visit, but I've had their margaritas before, which were very strong. I'm not sure if I would definitely recommend this place, but I suppose I'd come back if I was craving Mexican food. -

Heard good things about this place and decided to check it out.
I ordered the veggie tacos without cheese and a Paloma. Everything was good! Nothing amazing or extraordinary, but good. There was plenty of seating outside when we went, and the server was friendly.
No complaints. I would go back! -

Chips quest, guacamole and salsa were bomb! Hard to stop! Steak fajita was phenomenal! Chicken quesadilla was good. We sat on the rooftop area; not much a view but great privacy! Excellent service and house margarita was a good lunch! Pricing is reasonable!
